I'm not the biggest fan of ""modern"" websites, which bombard you with 50 different scripts, fancy animations and everything else the ux team came up with. Also I don't have the nerves to setup a whole cms or spa framework for my personal site. That's why this site is just some plain old html plus css. Perhaps I will add some more colors or even pictures. Bringing back the old school internet. Or at least trying to.
My deployment pipeline is a shell script which uses rsync to upload the website directory to a vps running nginx. So to say, it's devops for poor people :)
Also, please excuse my english. I'm writing this text in a code editor which sadly doesn't have red
squiggly lines for
spelling or grammar errors plus I'm not a native speaker. Got a spell checker, yey
PS: The floating footer is a feature, not a bug! fixed it with some dodgy css
